Exposición Levantar el Suelo

Levantar el Suelo exhibition

Levantar el Suelo – Pedagogical Laboratory 1 presents the research and experimentation processes developed within the framework of a seminar carried out with students from the Master's Degree in Research in Art and Design (MURAD). This activity is part of the project Levantar el Suelo, one of the research lines that make up the international program SIT-PLU: LAB Eina.

The outcomes are gathered in an exhibition that opens on November 26 at 4 p.m. and will remain on view at Eina Bosc until December 19.

The seminar, held in early November, proposed to read the concrete courtyard floor of Eina Bosc not as a neutral background or a technical surface, but as a field of friction, resonance, and recording—where material, political, and affective memories intertwine. This perspective allowed an exploration of the ways in which the ground is constituted as a fabric of matter, history, and representation.

Thinking of the ground from this perspective means recognizing it as a political, technical, and ecological assemblage: a space where time stratifies into material, symbolic, and affective layers.

The exhibition takes the form of an Atlas of the Ground of Eina Bosc, composed of fragments, archival documents, drawings, narratives, maps, and graphic records. Through them, visitors are invited to listen to the material memories of the ground—those where bodies intertwine through friction rather than continuity. Between the folds of the political, the technical, and the ecological, the ground reveals itself as a surface of interferences, where each layer rewrites the others.
