The project “Nixi for Children” by Tomàs Lóbez, former student of EINA's Degree in Design, has won the Tatiana Sisquella 2019 prize for the social contribution of Diari Ara (Ara Newspaper).
The project, initiated by Tomàs as a Final Degree Project, is a virtual reality tool that serves to reduce pre-operative anxiety in children from 4 to 12 years old and is currently in the clinical study phase at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital.
The award ceremony took place within the framework of the Nit de l'ARA, held on 28 November at the Palau de la Música Catalana, which commemorates the 9th anniversary of this newspaper.
