Susana Broullón

Susana Broullón (Cangas del Morrazo, 1987), graduated in Fine Arts at the UB (Universitat de Barcelona) and learnt about life through comics, videogames, and cartoons.


She has given several talks during 2020 about her professional career in videogames for the online editions of Gamelab with "Los caminos del artista" and the Universidad da Coruña in the "II Xornadas Mulleres detrás dos Videoxogos". 

She has also participated in the 17th Encontro Galego de Ilustración with the theme “Videojuegos y manga: ¿se puede vivir de eso?” (Video games and manga: can you make a living out of it?).

Professional activity

She is currently a senior videogame artist.

She began his career as a game artist at Gameloft, where she experienced first-hand the expansion of the mobile market, developing concept art for different titles, including Despicable Me: Minion Rush and the driving franchise arcade Asphalt. 

She currently works at King, the company behind Candy Crush, where he has been involved as a general artist on titles such as Bubble Witch 3 Saga. 

The growing interest in creating accessible games for all types of players has led her to specialise in user interface and user experience.

At the same time, in her spare time, she works on manga aesthetics for publishers and events.


After a long career in self-publishing, she created the cover of the charity initiative TBO4Japan (Dibbuks) and in 2011 she published her first manga comic in the collective work "Barcelona TM" (Norma Editorial).

In 2012, she created the poster for the 18th Barcelona Manga Fair, followed by several posters for events with a Japanese aesthetic.

Her most recent work is the cover illustration for Bad Gyal's single "Aprendiendo el Sexo".
