Mercè López

Graduate in Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts specialising in illustration at EAAOO Llotja de Barcelona.

Teaching

Lectures and workshops for children and adults at different schools, as well as at book fairs such as FILIJ in CDMX, FIL in Guadalajara and FilBo in Bogotá.
 

Professional activity

Since 2004, she has worked on more than 40 books for national and international publishers (France, USA, Mexico...) and some of them have been translated into different languages. 

She is also the author of two illustrated albums: Qui es-tu? (Kaléidoscope, Paris 2006) which was a finalist for the 2006 Baobab Prize and L'enfant qui mangeait des margouillats (Kaléidoscope, Paris 2009) which was selected for PNBE 2012 in Brazil.

He has illustrated some twenty covers for Libros del silencio, Bambú, Sky pony press, Shadow Mountain, Viena edicions, Zanjie, Planeta....

His clients include magazines, companies and organisations such as Petit Sapiens, Ayuntamiento de Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Blancco, Le laboratoire de la création, Cargo flms, Flow audio, Park Division, Nestlé, Panrico, My beautiful Parking, Museu d'Història de Catalunya, Alfons Flores, Le Monde de l'éducation...
