Marta Puig (Lyona, Barcelona, 1979) is a filmmaker and illustrator. She studied at the ESCAC (Escola de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) and graduated in 2001, specialising in directing. As her final project she made a short film in Stop Motion, "La bici roja".
Since then she has made a hundred music videos for groups such as Love of Lesbian, Sidonie, Lori Meyers, Leiva, Carlos Sadness, Amaral, Pau Vallvé or The New Raemon... In the world of advertising she has made several spots using the Stop Motion technique for clients such as Mans Unides, Unicef, Estrella Damm, Royal and Nestlé.
She has taught Stop Motion technique as part of the Master's Degree in Scenographic Design at Elisava.
She combines filmmaking with illustration. So far, she has published 20 books; the first one was the story written by Santi Balmes from Love of Lesbian "Jo mataré monstres per tu", and she has just published "Sex¡oh!", where she talks about female sexuality, sex education and the search for pleasure.
