MADE TRANS: Design and Spaces in Transition

MADE TRANS. Master in Design and Spaces in Transition

Do you want to design in complex environments that accumulate the intensity of the contemporary? MADE TRANS. Master in Design and Spaces in Transition focuses on the action of "designing by projects" in real environments immersed in processes of transition and controversy, making design a strategic and systemic mediation device.

MADE TRANS starts from a critical and contextual look at current controversial environments, offering fundamentals and methodologies to allow the development of projects that make design a conscious, educational, and critical tool towards our social, ecological, political, cultural, and technological environments.

Due to the professionalising nature of the master's degree, MADE TRANS is organised in 5 project workshops, each of them providing specific content on "fundamentals", "method" and "project practice". The group of teachers and guests will be different in each workshop, their knowledge and areas of expertise is directly related to the controversies that will serve as a starting point to begin the workshop. The learning format is replicated simultaneously in different locations, giving rise to moments of encounter between the different groups of students.

The final master's degree project is intended to be a workshop devised by each student to carry out the needs and concerns generated during the course.

In the 2021-2022 edition MADE TRANS will work on CULTURA NATURA relations.
