EINA's vehicular language is Catalan, like in the whole Catalan territory and in accordance with Autonomous University of Barcelona's language policy. Spanish is a co-oficial language along with English (academic community's lingua franca).
Consequentially, professors have the right to chose -between Catalan or Spanish- the vehicular language they are willing to use. However, if necessary, professors will help those students from non-Catalan speaking areas, by repeating, translating or explaining the contents of the course thoroughly. Likewise, students may hand in their projects and exams in Spanish, Catalan, or English.
However, the school is committed to introduce English progressively, in order to improve students' competences, with native teachers or teachers with an official qualification and an adequate level to give lessons in English.
