Scale Models and Prototypes - Graphic

The subject is divided into two areas of knowledge: analogue and digital.

> Analog part (75% of classes):

In this blog, the basic concepts about materials and technologies that can be used in
work processes are defined, and model production techniques are developed within
the context of design that help us develop and present projects:

• Drawing is used to represent and present ideas of a design project.

• The work models that are made with ephemeral materials are quick to execute, and
are used as a work tool within the design process of a project; they allow you to express
concepts, work on ideas, proportions or shapes in an effective way.

• The presentation models that are carried out with materials of a certain quality are
used to represent a project descriptively when the conceptualization and formalization
phase is completed. It is a very faithful representation of the final production, the phase
prior to producing with professional machinery.

> Digital part (25% of classes):

The Figma program will be used as a digital prototyping tool.
