Speculative / Services
In this subject, we will approach speculative design and service design. The first approach (speculative) will emphasise the possibilities of future scenarios and alternative worlds in the development of projects that allow us to elaborate scenarios of use to re-imagine the present and the future of design. The second (services) will focus on planning and organising resources for the improvement of the user experience, with an emphasis on strategic project development.
During the classes, a speculative project, a services project, and a set of parallel exercises will be carried out, which will allow students to practice and acquire the competences of the subject.
The contents will be related to the centre of interest that will be developed by the teaching team of the subject. The team, with a multidisciplinary profile, will be responsible of dynamising learning through applied knowledge sessions for each of the design disciplines - graphic, spaces, product, culture, visual creation - as well as the relevant corrections for the specific training of each student.
