Projects 3

The subject is part of a thematic area that will drive the entire training process: Youth.

INSIDE/OUTSIDE LOOK

What image can best represent the concept of youth? What idea do we have of ourselves? How can we look beyond the established ideas that Western society projects on youth? Can we detect what types of markets, cultural and social elements are most established among the youth of the 21st century? How can we have a radical view of this area while respecting historical evolution and the different stages of growth?

Through what means can we transform the view of youth? What are the tools that young people have today, that they create and position for themselves? Through what languages is it established? What factors help us to define the culture of now? But when is now?

Youth can question itself, as a conceptual, social, aesthetic and political figure, through the languages that it has defined throughout the evolution of popular culture, visual arts, humanities and design. Can the aesthetic and political dimensions of today's youth be defined? Can we thus define a context of contemporary modernity that captures and generates spaces for reflection, criticism and improvement of young people? How can we establish links with different cultures to see how youth develop? What knowledge can we use from the visual arts and design to change or adapt the interests and objectives of youth?

The subject of Projects 3 will be developed through this theoretical framework, triggering reflections in the student through a concept so close and at the same time so far away for them, as youth.
