DATA PROTECTION POLICY AND IMAGE RIGHTS ASSIGNMENT POLICY OF EINA ALUMNI
Once registered, applicants will be able to benefit from the status of EINA Alumni and will be subject to the school's working regulations and to this data protection policy.
In compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulations and the Spanish Constitutional Personal Data Protection Act 15/1999, of 13 December 1999, we should inform you that the personal data provided will be included in a duly registered file, owned by the Fundació EINA (hereafter EINA), with the aim of managing the data associated with the professional profile of the members of EINA Alumni on this website and its related services, and of sending information about our own and third-party academic activities. If you also subscribe to the EINA newsletter, with the aim of sending information about the arts diary and institutional events.
The sole recipient of the data is EINA. Data will not be assigned to third parties, except in the cases where there is a legal obligation.
The lack of any of these data or of the authorisation to process them and communicate them will render the operating process of EINA Alumni tasks impossible, so if you register for this service, you give express consent to the access to the personal data stated above and to their processing. Part of the profile data (name, surnames, website and image) will be public in the “EINA Alumni Members” directory.
Given all this, and as the owner of the data, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, opposition or cancellation in a letter that must state the name and surnames of the interested party, a photocopy of their National Identity Document, Foreign Resident Number or passport, their address for notification purposes, the date and the signature of the applicant, addressed to: EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art. Passeig Santa Eulàlia núm. 25. 08017, Barcelona, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Similarly, and in accordance with the provisions of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Act, the signatory may at any time revoke the consent given to receive commercial communications by email at the following email address: email@example.com.
Assignment of image rights
Through in-house, and in some cases third-party, different media, supports and formats, EINA publishes and disseminates photographic and audiovisual images of the school or events in which images of some EINA Alumni members may appear, providing that the purpose is to promote the activities that it offers and foster the dissemination of design and art.
In the process of registering for the EINA Alumni service, its members authorise EINA to take photographic and audiovisual images of their person. These images may be disseminated in any medium that is the property of EINA, with no territorial or time limit, solely free of charge and for the purposes of promoting and disseminating the activities associated with EINA Alumni or EINA University School of Design and Art of Barcelona. EINA reserves the right to assign this material to third parties for its publication.
This authorisation is completely free of charge and signatories undertake not to claim any form of compensation or payment in exchange for the permission agreed with EINA for the use of their image.
Given all this, and as the owner of the image rights, the signatory may exercise the rights of access, rectification, opposition or cancellation in a letter that must state the name and surnames of the interested party, a photocopy of their National Identity Document, Foreign Resident Number or passport, their address for notification purposes, the date and their signature, addressed to: EINA, Passeig de Santa Eulàlia, 25, 08017 Barcelona, or by email to the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Statement and undertaking regarding personal data protection, intellectual property rights, and the protection of the right to honour, privacy and image
I hereby state that, EINA, University School of Design and Art of Barcelona, attached to the Autonomous University of Barcelona, has informed me that:
Activities are subject to image rights and personal data protection rights and for this reason I have no authorisation to record the sessions, the teaching staff giving them, the personnel who work on them or other EINA Alumni members, by any means, except in cases where the nature of the activity necessarily involves recording or where the owners of the rights or their legal representatives expressly authorise it.
The sessions are considered works protected by intellectual property rights and for this reason I have no authorisation to record the sessions given by the teaching staff, by any means, except in cases where the teaching staff have expressly authorised it in the corresponding session.
I therefore undertake to respect the provisions and regulations regarding personal data protection and the protection of the right to honour, privacy and image, and of intellectual property in relation to the activities carried out by EINA.
