From 14 September, EINA is resuming its academic activity in line with the Contingency Plan and Protocol put in place by the school in accordance with the instructions from the health authorities.
The priority objective in ensuring that all academic activity can take place and that the maximum services can be provided in all areas is to preserve the safety and wellbeing of all the members of the community.
EINA students, teaching staff and administrative staff
Before entering EINA in the 2020-2021 academic year, you must fill in the form on Moodle, accessing it with your user name and password. In principle, this need only be done once. If you want to change any of the answers you have submitted, you must inform management of this by email to alegares(at)eina.cat.
Non-EINA visitors
Users must enter EINA on the first floor and report to the porter’s office. The porter’s office will record this entrance while the person in question fills in the auto-responsibility form/questionnaire online.
Class attendance lists
Teaching staff will maintain a class attendance register, which they will give to the porter’s office every day before leaving the school. This list will include: name, surnames, ID, date, time and subject of everyone who has been in class for longer than 15 minutes.
The use of face masks is compulsory in all areas of the university, classrooms and communal areas for students, teaching staff and administrative and services staff. Hand hygiene must be maintained at all times. There are hand sanitisers for disinfection at the entrance to the university and the classrooms.
Compliance with these measures will enable teaching to take place with complete safety.
EINA undertakes to monitor the evolution of the pandemic to change or adapt the safety measures according to this evolution.
The exceptional nature of the year about to start means that the Bachelor’s Degree in Design will be structured semi-onsite. EINA is committed to onsite teaching complemented by a series of subjects that will be taught online. For more details about what these subjects are, please consult the timetable (November 2020).
To permit as much onsite study as possible, group sizes have been reduced and the adaptation and hygiene of areas have been ensured by following the recommendations of the health authorities. For online teaching, EINA has the capacity to enable a series of online platforms that should enable students and teaching staff to carry on with their work with the greatest degree of normality possible.
If a new state of emergency is declared or special measures are put in place by the health authorities, the academic structure of teaching at EINA is prepared for adaptation to online teaching while maintaining teaching quality criteria.
EINA has specified an action protocol to detect and have the capacity to isolate the groups in case there is a possible outbreak at the university, following the established health measures.
In the case of students or teachers who have been in direct contact with people who have tested positive for COVID-19, and who must be confined for a limited period, EINA has activated a protocol for personalised attention, which speeds up contact between students and teachers to guarantee access to teaching. If you are in this case, you can contact Anna Pujadas apujadas(a)eina.cat, who is the reference person who will coordinate students and teachers to speed up any doubts that may arise.
You can consult the series of measures established in the Contingency Plan and Protocol.
